Visual World is a video production company based in SE England, providing video production services mainly for corporate clients and UK broadcasters.

Video productions range from the straightforward to the highly complex with many production stages. You will need to decide how much of the project you wish to manage in-house, and how much you would like Visual World to do for you.

We work very efficiently having gained many years of experience working on productions for SKY, CNN and the BBC. We have edited newsreels in a matter of minutes and at the other end of the spectrum seen sophisticated film productions through to the Cannes Festival. So, we can offer very low cost solutions as well as highly crafted creative products.

Broadcasting Infrastructure
& Engineering

We have have a great deal of internal expertise and many contacts across the broadcasting and television world. We can manage infrastructure projects from the installation of edit suites through to the equipping of entire broadcast facilities.

Pricing

We charge our time at £350 - £450/day which is usually a 10 hour working day. We also add a flat charge of £150 to cover deliverables such as DVDs/DV tapes and administration.

Travel costs for camera crews are calculated as the distance from central London:

0 - 50 miles - no charge

50 - 250 miles - £50

250 - 400 miles - £100

400 miles or more- £150

Overnight stops are charged at £70 per person.

Example Webcast Production

A webcast for example would only require a single camera operator on location and a day in the studio to create graphics, edit the footage and load it onto your web server, so the cost would be £850

Example Small Corporate Video Production

Corporate videos usually require a minimum crew of two people on location, but it is quite possible to use only one in addition to a day in the studio to edit thge footage. You may also require some planning and copywriting that might need another day, so the cost would range from around £850 (2 x £350 + £150) to £1,550 (4 x £350 + £150).

Example of a Larger Corporate Video Production

This might require a crew of two people and a presenter on location for two days and perhaps two days in the studio in addition to an extra day for planning and copywriting, so the cost would be around £4,410 (9 x £450 + £150 + 3 x £70). If this was in Scotland then an additional £450 (3 x £150) would be added for travel costs.
